Theft of VA data (SSNs for 26.5 million vets)

.....Some of my friends have gotten real excited about this. Sending spam like emails to every other veteran they know predicting that the sky will fall or something. As for me...I am not gonna worry about it.
.....Identity theft? Why would anyone want to be me?
