+1

Add to that the question of "how were your investment returns last year, or YTD?"

Does it really matter what happened in such a short term?

Ask me how DW/my returns have done over the last three decades? Well, that's worth discussion...

Yes, I do not get it either? It's just a game. The whole thing about this player/coach this and that player/coach that is not at all interesting. I remember on tv there was a young man who mentioned that he did not get hardly any any sleep the night before some championship game was to take place, where he was a fan of the team playing. He then became so excited that the team won, that he was up all the following night and could not sleep? (He got hardly any sleep for two days)

If you want it to be more than a game, so to a sportsbook in Nevada and pick a team and put $500 on it. I promise your "interest level" will pick up immensely watching it. I convinced my disinterested GF to put $200 on a college football game. She was a wreck the whole game and barely knew what was going on, but she was anything but " disinterested" watching it

I don't get animal cruelty....or cruelty of any type actually. Where does evil like that come from within a person?

Tattoos and ornamental rings and piercings !

I understand wanting to express one's individuality but these things I just don't get.

The idea of rooting for the home team, say in football.

Are there any teams in the US where all or most of the players are from say, Pittsburgh? Heck the owners trade players like playing cards.

As for the pillow thing, agree with Walt34, makes DW happy, so it shall be. But I'm sure there is a lot more to it than women will ever tell men. Must be a Psych 15000 course to get it revealed.

I have a tattoo on each forearm acquired when I was 14 1/2........for 6 months I thought they were great.......for the following 54 years I've disliked them intensely..........nowadays I see young people, especially young girls, with them and always think "You'll be sorrry".

Nemo,

It sounds like, with your intense dislike of your tattoos, you might be a candidate for tattoo removal, no?

20 more years and 4 more inches of eyebrows, I think will qualify me. But by then they will say Andy who?

'Back When' I saw people who'd had them removed, (pre-laser, etc, technology), there was a 'non-tannable' scar remaining which indicated that a tattoo had been removed and, IMO, looked just about as bad as the 'too itself.

Now....I turned 69 in September....I've lived with them this long and I just kinda ignore them.......but if I had to do it over........I wouldn't do it, (get them, that is).

I just don't get:

Some people who complain about the high price of gas, and the low price of houses.

I guess you just can't please 'some people'!

That neighbor's house. You know, the one with plastic slip covers on all the furniture, and plastic runners down the hall. The one who has folks enter the house through the garage and kitchen, rather than sully the museum exhibit under plastic in the front of the house.

I don't get it...

I don't get the planking thing either.

Mr B and I go to the Legions and VFWs in the area as a matter of course. We see people spending money (lots of it in some cases) that they really cannot afford on these little cardboard pull-ticket contraptions
http://www.pull-tabs.com/pull-tabs.htm
A closer view and the prizes
http://www.pull-tabs.com/pull-tabs-5.htm

that fill something called a Bell Jar.
http://www.alliedbingo.com/home/ab2/...he_state_.html

Mr B calls it "cardboard cocaine".

I don't get it. I have counted the number of possible cash prizes, the number of tickets issued in a lot of tickets, and have concluded that the math w*rks against being a winner.
