Those Santa Years

OK, I've been mistaken for several people in my lifetime. Wearing dark suits around DC I was mistaken for Ben Bernanke and once when I wore a dark mock turtleneck on the Metro some Japanese tourists thought I was Steve Jobs. I always got a giggle out of those. Today was a little different, however.

I was at the pharmacy and when I was walking down an aisle I see this tiny tot (probably just under 2) looking at me with really big eyes and whispering, "Santa". Her mom didn't help me out, she said, "Tell Santa you've been good." Of course, I gave them a big smile and a wave, but I stopped short of saying, "Ho, ho, ho." I guess I've moved into a new phase of life.

That will never happen to me. Aside from not having a beard of any color I just don't have the guts for it.

Very cute. You should carry little candy canes and reindeer treats with you.

Quite a range of people you've been mistaken for!

That happens to me almost daily, which in turn, reinforces the fact that I'm oft times mistaken for the Grinch!
