As far as I've been able to tell, you are assigned one of these beautiful blonde wives when you get your PGA tour card.

Seriously, I suspect the odds of a celebrity marriage (sports, actor, music, etc) surviving is pretty close to the odds of winning the Powerball. It would be the same for politics, except I think the spouses know up front that they are window dressing, and buy into it for the power. Usually I'm optimistic to the point of whistling Pollyanna as I walk, but in this instance I'm as cynical as they come. If you marry a star you either have to suck it up and keep your mouth shut, or live on the piddling little $50K/month alimony after it falls apart.

It's in USA Today that Tiger's mother and HER mother were in the house when this accident happened. OMG...this was NOT a fun event I'm sure.
Yes, people cheat all the time. I've had more than one girlfriend use me as an excuse to fool their husbands even tho I myself am not a cheater and hate cheating in general (buy, hey! it's their lives and their marriage, so who am I to interfere with their desires).
However, if I were someone in the public eye I would--with all Tiger's money--at least be more discrete about it...and watch myself not to get involved with known party girls or blabbermouths. He's not paying attention or his little head does his thinking totally.
There is a reason so many men use "pros" in the business, which isn't such a bad idea when you think about it. You pay for them to go away after all when these dummies Tiger got involved with actually fantasize they are having a "relationship." This puts him in the position he finds himself today. Not smart for such a supposedly smart guy.
Or he wanted to get caught because he wants out of the family thing is a possibility.

A couple of my clients are former professional athletes. They told me Tiger was not very smart at all. Apparently there is an entire business structure for pro athletes, basically high end escort services that provide "dates" and other companionship. If Tiger truly wanted to go outside the marriage, it would have been a better option than some floozy thinking she could Tiger to leave his wife and have a storybook ending as "Mrs. Woods II".........NO WAY he could control that situation...as soon as TMZ or someone waved money in front of them, those mistresses were more than happy to "tell all'...........

Tiger's caddie has been silent on the whole matter. I am a bit surprised the media hasn't cornered Stevie in New Zealand and asked him about Tiger. I DON'T BELIEVE for a second Stevie has NO KNOWLEDGE of what Tiger was doing......for all we know he got Tiger "hooked up"...........maybe the job duties of a caddie are varied.......

It Only (tounge in cheek) costed $3200 in damages for Tiger.

Woods crash did $3,200 damage to hydrant, tree - Golf - Yahoo! Sports

What has to make me chuckle is how can someone with such discipline on the golf course be such a bad driver?

Ehhh...when I hear the word "Floozy", it's usually coming out of the mouth of someone at least 80 years old...

I'm sure Tiger has a contract with Stevie stating he must keep his mouth shut. You never hear anything out of him other than his remarks concerning Phil Mickelson a year ago. Tiger's old caddy, Fluff was fired for talking too much. But I bet you are right, Stevie probably knows all about Tiger's running around and may have been involved. But that is just speculation, I sure don't know. I wish I did. Maybe I would get some money thrown my way.

Her bio says it all. In the end, Tiger is just a big horndog, like a lot of other pro athletes.

my grandpa used to say that. However, the urban dictionary description of a "floozy" is a LOT different than grandpa's version of it........

I mean how stupid could Tiger be? This gal was a meeting planner for parties and was known to have been involved with other married men. Can we say dumba*ss? My gosh...a blind guy would see this one coming.
She isn't exactly Ms. Demure. I wouldn't exactly call her a floozy, but a wild child who has no regard for anyone else is my guess. What does SHE have to lose?
Of course there are high end escorts for pro athletes and Senators and Mr. CEO. He knows this. Heck, we ALL should know this by now with the Charlie Sheens and Elliott Spitzer fiascos. He really is dumb, because these ladies know their place (which is to provide time/entertainment until they are to go away) and don't fall in love with their clients.
Now Tiger has a pissed off wife, mother-in-law and probably mother (or else mother is just embarrassed and disappointed = spoken like the mother of a son that I am). Why put everyone thru this...unless, again, he wants out for some reason and this is his unconscious or conscious way of doing it.

By the way, I used to take my son when he was growing up to the boxing events in Houston, which were boxers just turning pro. Cheap to live and train there, so they start there and move then to Atlantic City or around NY/NJ and then Vegas.
We would go to the boxing matches--and need I say we stood out as there were no kids there, a few older Black ladies who worked in the offices or had sons boxing and TONS and TONS of hookers--so even at the lower levels there are lots of working gals looking for business while working, too. I'm not talking about gum cracking, skunky looking ladies either, but attractive, well-groomed, younger women (usually 20's-30's) dressed in tight, shorter, low sexy outfits on 4" heels, perfectly made up, and trotting around with some older guys usually....duh...even I got that one. Anyway, it isn't like he would have to wonder where to find someone in that business if he has half a brain.
We were there for the boxing, however.

Tiger's been told he was "special" since he was a toddler. Remember him on tv with Bob Hope and other stars when he was like 3? I'm going to go along with the definitions of narcissist that USA Today has in the paper (available on the net) which says narcissistic leaders are often cheaters and always looking for the next best thing.
He'll keep doing this, so she either decides to put up with it or leaves. Maybe Ellie will be like Mrs. Bob Hope (a notorious cheater) and just live with him and refuse to have sex with him for like 40 years.

Absolutely true........

Again,I'll go back to my original premise: Would any of this have happened if Earl was alive? Possibly, but not likely........

his family sacrificed a TON for him to get all the help he needed to be great........

So, in other words, Elin will become like Hillary Clinton?

I agree this probably wouldn't have happened if his father were still alive. As someone else said, I'm sure he's twirling in his grave, too. He surely would be disappointed in Tiger's stupidity if nothing else I'm sure.
Putting myself in his mother's place when this all happened with his MIL and wife sitting there at the same table when this happened, I'd want to crawl under the table...and then go kick his a*s all over for being so stupid.

Yeah, FinanceDude, I'm guessing Elin will either have to put up and shut up or become like Hillary, Mrs. Bob Hope and need we forget Jackie Kennedy and all those other celebrity wives who live with obvious wandering men that the entire world knows about.
However, Hillary doesn't HAVE to tolerate Bill for money or position unlike most wives in these arrangements.

He had a lot of experience playing in foursomes on the course, I guess he figured he could handle a foursome off the course.
