[Qantas has had several fatal accidents but none for 50+ years. They did have a non-fatal crash in Bangkok in 2000.]

I have flown Quantas and absolutely love the AU natives. How typical.

Over my professional lifetime I have worked with employers of both of these occupations. While a pilot may have a college degree, mechanics are craftsmen/ women. Our lives depend on both. Let us all salute their skills and sense of humor!!!
