Folks our troops are still bogged down in Iraq and Afganistan and there are major problems in Pakistan and the Middle East and Old George W is still saber rattling and making threats.

The deaths raised to at least 3,934 members of the U.S. military who have died since the Iraq war started in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. 
Let's hope Old George W does not write a check that he can not cash.

I believe the new NIE on Iran was dated November 2007. Thus I do believe that this might have caused Old George W to pause because he knew that he could no longer justify an attack on Iran.
As for another BUSH in the White House they (supporters of the bushes) still have hope for the GREAT Jeb. Heh, Heh, Heh.

Maybe the words "If Necessary" were used not only because of the new NIE on Iran but also because the Taliban are still a force which will have to be dealt with 6 years after the invasion.
