Using mind games to get priority service

As I stated in an earlier post, my favorite lawnmower repair shop closed , so I had to find a new small engine mechanic. Called a new place to get shop hours, and estimate " up to a week, we are really busy "..

Took it into the shop, and my inner sob came to life. I told the guy " I don't think you can fix it"....He said " Are you saying I'm a bad mechanic ? " I sheepishly said, ' Oh no , I just think it's so messed up, I don't think anyone can fix it .

Got a call 3 hours later , repairs complete and ready to pick up. Bill was ok too.

If I had just employed such tactics earlier in life, I could have retired rich, and years earlier.
