Somewhere I read on the web that he will be tried before a judge, not a jury, and he can expect 25 years without parole.

I don't think he will last that long. Good.

my bumpersticker:
"I am not in a hurry.
I am retired.
And I don't care how big your truck is."

but....but... but.. he already confessed. (well, sort of, since he retracted it, but he still needs killin'.) And besides, it has been well established in another thread that due process is grossly over-rated.

Maybe, just maybe, he'll be allowed to post a $20Billion bond and then turn up at the Isle of Wight yacht races...

Just finished watching Clint Eastwood in "Hang 'Em High". Maybe Peru is having trouble finding Van der Sloot a jury of his peers.

Or maybe they left that part out of their constitution on purpose...

The book written on, "The Military Guide to Financial Independence and Retirement", on sale now! For more info see "About Me" in my profile.
I don't spend much time here anymore, so please send me a PM. Thanks.
