Probably the most important consideration is its appearance on Amazon:

I had gone to a bigger text to make it more readable, but you have made me realize it's done the opposite.

And vote "D" has a better price too, Al.

From an esthetics viewpoint, the fonts in A,B,C play poorly together. D is more artistic. But I'm not into SciFi so may not be the target audience. If I were going to open up this book, the cover would have to be D.

I like. That was the kind of tweak I had in mind. Blue earth and more prominent death ray.

Ship it!

Looks great!

Who is Jake Corby? Should this be "Another Jake Corby"?

The newest iteration is my favorite, but prior to that, I voted D. Could a highlightened edge of the solar panels be used to direct the viewers eyes from the authors name back to the title? I am not an expert but would hazard that a second look could help generate a sale.

I choice D, the cover looked more professional and less sensational...

I like the latest one the best. It is clear and I like that it has A Jake Corby Sci-Fi Short. When I get a series I like, I hate trying to figure out if it is the series I like or other books the author has written.

If you do go with A, B or C, I'd suggest you consider a bit more background picture to the right of the I in Anti. On first glance, the title looked like the Ant Terrorist.

Growing older, Al already said in his first post that the picture is shifted due to the voting column.
