Interesting video. He forgot to mention that we haven't actually found a Higgs bosun yet. That is what they hope to do using the new Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

Nice waste of money. There is no benefit to mankind if we learn anything about a boson. I've worked with lots of high energy physicists. They have no clue that science is about alleviating human pain and suffering.
