Re: Welcome to Boston ["Bawstun"]

Key item when performing any merge or entering/leaving said rotaries:

Yield right of way only to the people who have a thick layer of dried spit on the inside of their windshield...its not worth it.

I also cant count how many californians I've saved from certain death who walked off a curb without looking to see who was going to accelerate and change lanes to hit them. Now that I've moved here, I still sit in my car at crosswalks thinking "look at 'em...didnt even look up to make sure someone wasnt bearing down on them. Pathetic."

Hey, I just think that maybe hitting a few pedestrians now and then keeps things lively.

A little "death race 2000" ?

Re: Welcome to Boston ["Bawstun"]

grew up in Chelsea just outside Boston.

my all-time favorite is..."whadda u retahhhdidd?"

There was a handwritten sign in a local bar that advertised "Beer and a beatin' $3"

Re: Welcome to Boston ["Bawstun"]

I lived in the Boston area for 8 years. My favorite is "wicked funny", I still say it every now and then.

I thought, "Good Will Hunting" did a great job of capturing Boston.
