What a way to live!

I am in Barcelona, Spain on business right now.....in the few days that I have been here.....no one is rushing, not many honks in the streets, people are always hanging out drinking cafe con leche outside, hanging out on the beaches having ensaladas, and then retiring for the siestas.
The only crazy ones are the Americans running from the convention center to their hotels!
I have met quite a few ex-pats from the Northeast US and they look amazingly well!
I need to make a name for myself with my art and move here!

While on vacation there (3 weeks in Spain) we met a Brit who was the sales manager in Barcelona for Oracle. He said they worked harder than in the UK. But their day is spread over a longer period (8am to 8pm) and so provides time for long lunches and walks down Las Ramblas.

Evenings are devoted to dinner and time with the family. Very civilized indeed.
