Have to share my Berkeley moment as a recruiter, but lucky for me, not a military recruiter. In 2005, I was in UC Berkeley attending a job fair representing my company, a local company with lots of employees. We were recruiting students into our various management level programs. In the middle of the job fair, a group of students with signs and banners come into our large conference room and walk through protesting... probably the war, but I can't remember, and the leaves. We stopped all conversation (because of the noise level) while they did their thing.
There are many "only in Berkeley" stories out there, along with many "only in San Francisco" stories.
