If you had to list in one word (or a phrase) what money means to you, what would it be? Freedom, security, power, others ??

Security.

Without a doubt - security. After that would come freedom. Power - meh - no interest in power. I'm done with power.

Means different things to different people, but to me it means security too (though I well know nothing is guaranteed).

Many things, security being a basic. But also the freedom to not have to work and to some extent do what I want.

Depends. (no not those) Depends on how much money.

Beauty? Because it is nice and shiny?

Well, you have to convert it to Krugerrands or at least new Benjamins to see the beauty instead of just a number on your PC screen, but I am sure we all have the imagination to visualize it.

Securdom = security and freedom :)

All of the above.

I don't have to lug a buch of stuff around to try and barter, then haul that stuff around to try and barter, for stuff I really want and need.

It's nothing but a bunch of bits. Other than cash, gold, liquor, ammunition...... stuff you can hold or trade. It's a buch of bits stored in computer systems. Try eating those?:what:

I guess it's what I can trade those bits for is valuable. Mostly Security.

Money equals staying alive.

Money beyond that makes life easier, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.

Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
