How does one edit posts with this new board software?

Added: Ok, I see an edit button for this post. But why not for a previous post?
Is there some time window within which to edit?

The short answer seems to be, "No you can't edit your own posts unless you do it almost immediately." The moderators have decided that posters editing their own posts have abused that software feature in the past.

I still want to know what Brewer has been saying that the moderators have been deleting. Is that abuse of a software feature?
