Roof rack for my 2012 Prius, two Kayak racks a bike rack. I was going to buy a folding bike but after contacting the manufacture I got $50 off and free shipping by going direct.

All great purchase and really makes that car functional for all our adventures in the outdoors.

Raspberry Pi B+. I installed OpenElec onto an old SD Card, popped it into an ancient plastic floppy disk box, and voila: I have an XBMC media center for the bedroom!

Just bought a mini speaker. Now, I'm really looking forward to syncing my portable radio to the TV broadcast for the football season:

Six Denso Iridium spark plugs for the FJ. These have a slightly larger electrode (0.7mm) than NGK. Should last 100K miles.

Mechanical pencils (you can never have too many! and my favorite old one broke) and leads, and an earbud case.

I paid with my Amazon Visa rewards points after subtracting $2 for a coupon.

Big spender, here.

I came to this thread to post that I bought a portable speaker --- the same one you did ! Incredible sound for a teeny little thing. I use it with my tablet which has some pretty pathetic built in speakers.

I no longer buy from Amazon. The prices aren't competitive and the shipping can be outrageous unless you sign up for Prime.

That looks like a great little speaker! I was so impressed by the sound as demonstrated in a video review. I love the small size.

I might get one too.

Amazon.com : XBOOM Mini Portable Capsule Speaker with Rechargeable Battery and Enhanced Bass+ Resonator - Green : MP3 Players & Accessories

Edited to add: For $14.99 I couldn't resist! Mine is "out for delivery" and I can hardly wait to try it out.

Bought a call blocker (yes, I still have landline ).

Amazon.com: SENTRY Dual Mode Call Blocker. Block 100% Robo Calls. Stop All Junk Calls, Election Calls, Survey Calls. 9999 Number Capacity: Electronics

With the mid-term elections coming up, been getting bombarded with robocalls along with the regular telemarketing calls.

Hopefully, this will do the trick to stem the tide.

I ordered an Amazon Basics lightning to USB cable for my iPhone 5S last week. But, the cable that I already had may be OK; it is conceivable that the problems I was experiencing possibly may have been due to the iOS 8.0 "upgrade" discussed in another thread.

Oh well, I suppose it's smart to have a spare, just in case.

I do, too, although I plan to drop my landline at some point. This looks like a great little device to have. I have been getting at least 2-3 robocalls/day and with elections coming up, it can only get worse.

My fingers are crossed that the device is reliable.

I've considered two other similar devices but settled on this one. I was thinking, one may only get a handful of calls from known people and then the rest of the 99% is just robocalls and other telemarketing. So, I like the whitelist approach.

Btw, I have some Amazon Basics HDMI cables for my TV. They work great.

I just bought a charger adapter for my Kindle, cost half as much as the official one and was advertised as "exactly the same as Amazon, except for the logo"

Oh my goodness! I had no idea such a product was available! I wouldn't guess you've gotten yours yet Easysurfer, but has anyone else used this? We live in NC, site of one of THE most contested senate races and it is getting ridiculous. Well, there's that and the generic robocalls about "This is your last chance to ....click" And yes, we're on the do not call list.

Seriously, anyone have one of these? Thx.

I haven't received mine yet. Actually, I'm a bit bummed at Amazon as when I ordered, the blocker was listed as under Amazon Prime. Then right after I checked again and it shows not available for Amazon Prime. I did just check and the current status is sending, with an estimated arrival of early next week.

In the meantime, you can check out a demo on Youtube:

This kitchen timer. What I like about it is that after time runs out it starts to count up so you know how long it's been since you ran out of time.

Ahhhh, in search of the (near) perfect kitchen timer!

I actually had to list the features I wanted, and then went on my search (haven't really found it yet). But I have that one, and it is good.

Off the top of my head - feature list (and a check on this model):

A) Cheap battery - AA or AAA alkaline, no $$$ coin batteries please, we always have AA/AAA on hand -check

B) Large digits - check

C) Count up after hit hits zero - check (nice to know if you missed it by 1 minute or 20 minutes)

D) Memory - when it goes to zero, a 'start' goes back to the previous time setting - check

E) Multi-hour capability - (descending scale) da-da-da-da-da-da-waaaaaaa-waaaa-waaaaa - that one is 99 minutes max. Anyone ever time a 3 hour roast?

We had one that had a switch to go between minutes and hours ( 99 min 59 sec, or 99 hours 59 minutes. That died and can't find it anywhere.

And a pet-peeve - try to actually find out if a unit has these features or not! It ain't easy!

So when I need a multi-hour timer, I use an 'app' on my iPod touch or tablet. Talk about over-kill!
