What is up with all the titles on DVD?

I often check out the new stuff coming out http://videoeta.com/ and do we really need "One day at a Time" and "Charles in Charge" in our dvd collection?

I know that we recently had the topic on what folks watch, but is there anything older that people have rented and taken a fresh look at?

Re: What is up with all the titles on DVD?

Usually when you see s sudden "dump" like this it has something to do with copyrights or copyright expiration. Somebody has been sitting on them and recently a Time-Warner/Disney/Other Large Operator made a deal to market them or perhaps inexchange to buy the rights to one thing they were forced to buy the rights to these other marginal shows too and the agreement requires them to market them. On an economy of scale tons and tons of cheap crap really pays off
