I spent most of the day watching the short outrigger canoe races at Waikiki. It is quite a party scene with everyone watering hole filled to the brim, and tents from all of the canoe clubs well stocked on the beach well stocked with liquid refreshments.

My poor brother-in-law canoe was caught by a wave which capsized (huli) it and another boat earning them the dubious distinction of the best wipeout of the afternoon.

I went home around 7:00 laid down not particular drunk and awake at 10:30 having missed the 4th celebration oops. LOL getting old.
