Impressive what good photography and editing can do isn't it? That's real ability to make a video about cicadas interesting.

This is extremely timely - this morning I watched John Green's TEDTalk about learning communities and he said YouTube was his favorite. He even used MinutePhysics as an example, which is on the list you posted. I decided to start watching daily videos to broaden my horizon. Now I know where to start! Thanks!

Hmmm... I'm skeptical. An A380 produces some serious wake turbulence and I kind of doubt the guys in jetpacks would be able to fly that close to the wing tips. But the turbulence is mostly behind, so maybe....

I just flew a single engine Piper so I don't really know. Perhaps someone who has flown heavy metal will.

Special effects or no, it's still a neat video!

Looks like they stayed away from any turbulence by remaining above the wing or beyond the wingtips.

Notice the A380 had the flaps down to slow the aircraft enough that the totally insane jetpack guys could match airspeeds.

Totally insane is right. I can just picture trying to do that and being inhaled by one of those engines.

Yves Rossy (one of the pilots) is real. Here is a Ted talk and another video where he flies along with a B-17 (leads into another video after that) -

Excellent drone footage of Scotland. Vimeo is a fee based, ad free HD network which attracts professionally produced video, in contrast to YouTube, which is skewed towards the amateur.
