Re: What's Up with Gas Prices?

The price of gasoline for sept del is now running about 1.76 meaning everyone should see prices in the 2.30 to 2.40 range soon. But then again there is another possible Iranian BS moment or another storm brewing.

Gas may be headed back near $2
Analyst sees prices 'closer to $2 than $3' by Thanksgiving, newspaper reports.

Iran, straits of Hormooooz airforce attacks on Iranian nuke sites, Iranian missle launches into the saudi areas of the oil regions, 2 dollar a gallon gas yea reight. Look I am no fan of a military strike on Iran BUT Bush and company will not talk to the Iranians so what do you think will be the outcome??

Looks like bombs away sooner than later.

While the military's quite familiar with the lay of the land in Iraq after 16 years of practice, no one in the military-- particularly the infantry-- wants to tackle Iran. Even Rumsfeld himself will push back on any Bush "initiatives".

Quack, quack.

Iran may push the issue and decide for everyone. They sure have spent a lot of time and effort drilling their military in operations labeled "defensive" that certainly seem to be offensive. Now the head of the Shin Bet is saying that Iran is training Hamas in the same tactics used by Hizbullah in Lebanon against the Israelis. They also are getting very warm and fuzzy with Pakistan again, just about the time that the Pakis and the Indians usually have their annual "how close can we come to having a war" game of nuclear tipped brinksmanship.

Well, that'd certainly make gas approach $4/gallon. Or $40.

Iran's best military asset is their geography/climate/topography. If they leave their borders to roam around and lengthen their logistics load then they'll deserve what they get.
