Winter Songs

The leaves are all off the trees and it's a grey and chilly day here in Virginia. Good time to listen to songs about winter and cold weather. Here's one I love from Fleetwood Mac. Old one - from before the time Stevie Nicks joined the band.

Not sure it qualifies, but the first song your post made me think of. Definitely my favorite version of this classic...

Better version of Hazy Shade of Winter. Better looking than Garfunkel too. YMMV

Love this one Koolau. Second favorite after "Bare Trees". Prefer this youtube version cause you can see them perform. I remember them all so well.

Didn't this guy have another winter song with the word "White" in? Anyway, I've always liked this one better.

Earlier this year, the Weather Channel sponsored a weather song tournament to coincide with the NCAA basketball tournament. You could go on-line and vote for each bracket. The categories were Seasons, Sun, Elements, and Rain. Here's the link to the seasons bracket - I found it interesting.

Weather Song Tournament: Seasons Region - weather.com

The overall winner was "Here Comes The Sun" by the Beatles.
