Sorry guys still holding out. This one is really painful - Southsiders vs. 1 of 2 division rivals

I'm a skipper too!
and ambience is what I'm all about!
and another thing, don't you think the world would be a much different place if there was less spitting, scratching, swilling and stumbling and more sense of taste and color, I ask you?

Next year, I'm hoping the cubs can get a makeover and meet the Sox in the series.
My baseball 2006 wish list:
Sox and Cubs...7 games...all extra innings..7th won by Sox in Wrigley..

Re: World Series

Hey guys, does anyone else feel women shouldn't be allowed on sports broadcasts except as cheerleaders? How about those skimpy outfits lately...hold it I've got to spit skoal juice (a tuscan brown)....ok I'm back..I can't stand that gal anchor on Fox during the baseball playoffs, I don't know how Kevin doesn't start choking her during the broadcast and tell her to just shut up.

Dan I totally agree.* I'm all for womans rights but darn it I just don't like woman as sports announcers.* I could care less if they were cheerleaders...actually I feel there should be cheerleaders of both sexes.

Re: World Series

Perchance to dream...
Maybe someday Baseball will have cheerleaders to keep us involved during the slow parts of the game. Maybe someday...
About time for HA to post that I'm not being productive enough in my ER.

Re: World Series

About time the great State of Texas got into the World Series. What a job pitching by Roy Oswalt. With Clemens, Petitte, and Oswalt, it's going to be hard to beat the Astros. Anyway, I'm rooting for them.

Yeah, you look at those cheerleader pictures, which by the way are just plain old Texas girls (not hand picked or anything), you look at the Cowboys, Astros, 2 college teams in the top 10, world champion Spurs, and on and on- - - and it just makes you wonder--how and why do all these other folks live someplace other than Texas??*

No no no! Those girls were imported from LA. The native Texas girls were
mostly killed off by ranch work in the heat and rattlesnakes. JPatrick, you are
not helping keep potential "immigrants" properly informed about the
terrible hardships in The Lone Star State

Jar - I like that word - Neanderthal. It really needs to be used more on the forum. Although, I should make it clear that I don't think Rewahoo is one, I don't think he is from a period that far back.

By the way, when I said the Cubs & Sox are on my 2006 wishlist...well I forget to say that of course I want the Twins first and foremost to beat the Cubs in the series, if not the Twins then really it must be the White Sox, if not Whities than it should be the Red Sox losing to the Cubs, sorry Boston!
