yahoo mail - IMAP failing?

Is anyone having trouble accessing yahoo mail via IMAP?

Conversely is anyone successfully currently accessing email via IMAP?

If you respond, could you please state which email client software that you are using also.

I am basically trying to figure out if I should spend time to debug this now myself or wait it out.

Background
I am currently having trouble logging into my yahoo mail via my thunderbird email client. The error message that I receive in thuderbird is shown below.

I can login via the web interface. I have a free account and I realize that IMAP access via free accounts was never supported.

I am also aware of the current December security breach.

Thunderbird IMAP is not working with the error:

The current operation on 'Inbox' did not succeed. The mail server for account {yahoo acct} responded:[SERVERBUG] - SELECT server error - please try again later.

I am able to login on the webmail client.
2Factor is not enabled.
Allow App Access is enabled.

Thunderbird settings - Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server

• Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
• Port - 993
• Requires SSL - Yes

I was able to setup thunderbird to retrieve inbox using POP. The yahoo mail folders did not retrieve.

Indeed, Yahoo Mail seems to be working via IMAP in Thunderbird again this morning.

Isn't *.att.net affiliated with yahoo mail?
I've been having troubles the last couple days on one of my tablets and occasionally my phone with my att email not recognizing my password.
