Yea! Confetti drop!

Not surprising. If/when I ever start the full time job I will buy a small car for the commute and leave the full-size GMC pickup in the garage.

We're going to DE this weekend helping my sister move from Sterling, VA. (One of the hazards of owning a pickup, hard to say "no" to family.) With the truck loaded and towing a 6 x 12 U-haul trailer I expect to burn over $150 in fuel for a 350-mile round trip. If I'm lucky I might get 12 mpg.

We are thinking of purchasing a couple of small electric scooters to drive around on. But then our electricity bill will go up.

It looks like it would take around 3 KWH to charge up enough to go 40 miles -- about a penny a mile.
