That was in an old Dilbert comic as well, and I was reading it in one of the books with author's comments on each comic, and Scott Adams said o that one that it seemed about half the people emailing him didn't themselves realize/get that M and F are 40% of the days in a workweek, and the other half thought HE didn't get it.

There are many couples who choose not to have children, and this has nothing to do with greed.
