Acronyms

Okay, so sue me, I'm new!

what are LBYM and LBOM? Acronyms used on this site in various places.

I know the answer is going to be painfully obvious once you explain! Embarrassed already.
But not too embarrassed to stay ITD (in the dark).

Re: Acronyms

txdakini,

LBYM = Live Below Your Means

Many here achieve FIRE (Financial Independence, Retired Early) by adopting a lifestyle in which our expenses are kept significantly less than our incomes with the difference going into saving and investments.

LBOM - I'm guessing this is a variant standing for Live Below Our Means.

Re: Acronyms

Needs to have "avocado", "harvest gold" and "zucchini" added to it.
