Advice on rolling 401k to IRA requested
I intend to roll my 401k to IRA.
When I retired I started periodic withdrawals from my 401k under the separation during year of turning 55 rule. My employer's plan required that I establish a duration for withdrawals and not change it. Ever. Changing it requires immediate total distribution of the remaining funds.
Since I established a withdrawal duration that would result in depletion by age 70 (I do not want to do that), it is time to roll over to an IRA.
I have looked at Vanguard and Fidelity for fund costs. Current 401k is with T. Rowe Price and fund fees are 0.57%.
Currently invested in three target date funds: 2005, 2010 and 2020. This results in current AA of:
I am interested in Vanguard Wellesley or Wellington funds.
I am interested in low fees and diversification.
Any thoughts or advice?
