I have money in an AIG VALIC 403(b) and this bailout makes me think I am at less risk of losing it. I still think the bailout is a very bad thing.

Hope thee govt requires much of top management to be fired asap with no bonuses or parachute.

Chief Actuary, CFO, CEO, and Chairman (if the same as the CEO).

AIG fired their CEO in June and I doubt the govt can do anything about bonuses or parachutes (unfortunately). Do you think they should fire the new CEO after 3 months at the helm?

You keep hoping, and they keep getting rich.

I also would love to see some accountability, but I'm far more cynical than you. I wish I wasn't. It would be nice to have hope in the concept of justice in America (as long as it isn't applied to me ).
