xkcd: Money Chart

a look at the comparisons of costs in dollars - for Nords - the average yearly cost of bunny ownership is in the dollar area ($730 - although I imagine you probably squeezed that down quite a bit :-))- I haven't gotten over to the billions or trillions - still wading in the dollars area.

Well, day-to-day we spent quite a bit less.

However now that we're repairing our bunny's lifetime of infrastructure damage by renovating our familyroom, I'd have to suggest that xkcd is low by about an order of magnitude...

Eh, I can't blame it on our bunny. He probably only chewed about $1000 of drywall & wood, and so far the drywall guy and a quart of Bondo have done a fine job.

That chart is too large for even my 23" monitor. I'd love to buy a 40"x60" poster reprint and study it at my leisure, although even that scale might require a magnifying lens. Has anyone tried it on their 60" HDTV screen?

I spent quite a bit of time looking at it a few days ago when it was posted. It involved lots of zooming, scrolling, and panning.

Yep, I was suffering from eyestrain within 10 minutes. A couple places even had overlapping text.

When I was looking at the graphic, my Chrome browser interpreted my mouse's scroll wheel as either "magnify" or "shrink" instead of "scroll". That got annoying as hell real fast.
