That's funny because the hot new food item at the MN. state fair this year is choc. covered pork on a stick. Just makes your mouth water, doesn't it.

Oh man, I want a bacon wallet...

You got chocolate covered pork?!? Ours was trying out deep fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches (fried elvis) and deep fried pineapple. Cant say anything terribly positive about either one. They looked gross and I saw several people take a bite and toss theirs.

I mean...donuts and bacon? Hospitals and doctors offices should hand them out for free in the streets!
I do a low carb diet. My cholesterol has dropped considerably and I credit the weight loss. I eat bacon about 4 to 6 times per week. Now if DW wore a bacon bra I might go for 7.

And its economical too. Here's an example of how to wear a bacon top and cook the bacon at the same time you're sunning...

This would only work in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas or Florida. The "cooker" would have to be really pain tolerant.

This will probably end the thread, but I was watching TV and some kid had a PBJ&T sandwich

Other kid asked what that was and the kid opened it up to reveal, peanut butter, jelly & tuna (from a can).

Guess his Mom didn't like him much...yuck.

There's sure a lot of turmoil going on right now. CNBC hasn't run an upbeat story in what seems like years. Stocks are churning and interest rates are low. There are help wanted signs all over Houston for anyone that can breathe.

I can't help but think we are in better shape than we were back at the turn of the century.
I think that the demand for ChEs is a reflection of the price of oil.

Remember 1982/3?

I used to make pb&j + mayo and ham (+lettuce+mustard) sandwiches. Two great things that taste great together!

So we started surfing the web on our respective computers and just after I click and start scrolling down the thread, I reach the bacon bra just as DW looks over:

"So I'm thinking for Tori's birthday we co-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LOOKING AT??!!!"

"It's the ER board, really!"

Great, now she thinks I have a bacon fetish.

Been there, done that and they weren't givin' out no stinkin' T-shirts. My first lay-off was February 1982. I and 1,100 of my closest friends led the oil company lay-offs.

I'm enjoying it while it lasts. There was a bumper sticker around in the mid-80's that said "Please God. Give us one more oil boom and we won't screw it up again."

Well this is it. I'm filling my sack a little fuller. The pay is great. Everyone loves me; and when it's over, I'm done.
