This kind of article is kind of preaching to the choir here......

The couple gave their retirement portfolio to a FA with general instructions to "invest it conservatively" and only went back and checked on how he was doing when others pointed out to them that he had lost much of the assets in their own accounts? Oh boy......

The FA, given other details in the article, should, of course, be castrated and have his nuts stuffed in his mouth while he stands on his head in a bucket of crap whistling Dixie......... but that doesn't do anything for the folks his poor investment skills and greedy tactics penalized.

So, tell us how you really feel about this FA.

Geez, why all the crooks around, when respectable finance types will manage your (or your Trust's) money for just 1-2% of assets per year? Why invest the stock money in a low fee Vanguard account when we can use this nice in house stock fund that only has 0.5% annual fees (plus trading costs of course...)? Plus other fees. Plus ... oh heck I am getting het up again.
