Buying TIPS directly in IRA

Is there anyway to transfer my Vanguard IRA monies into another IRA and buy TIPS directly? If so, how?

Thanks,
Terry

No need to transfer. Just open a brokerage account at Vanguard, and you can directly buy TIPS both at auction and on the secondary market. Vanguard doesn't charge any fee for buying TIPS at auction if you have flagship status.

Schwab doesn't charge any fee, period. They DO for secondary, however.
