Can you rollover a Roth -> TIRA

Can you rollover a Roth IRA to a Traditional IRA (non-deductible)?

I don't see anything that would let you do that. Why would you want to? If you have already funded a Roth you are in a good position already. Now if you have excess contributions to a Roth I believe you could re-characterize the contributions to a TIRA but that is not a roll over.

If you fund a Roth but end up exceeding the MAGI limit, and you are
allowed to rollover a TIRA (non-deductible) to Roth, I was wondering
if you could do a
Roth->TIRA->Roth
But I guess you would have to do:
Roth->back the Roth out->TIRA->Roth

TJ.........yakers has already given you the answer in the word "recharacterization". Basically, this just combines step 2/3 in your example of 4 steps above making it into a 3 step process, Recharacterizing Your IRA Contribution or Roth Conversion
