Maybe I should have posted this in this thread.

It's tax time here in the frozen north. I was doing a bunch of "what if's" and one of my options for DC pension money is to buy an annuity at some time in the next 10 years. I googled "annuity rates" and found this page. I think I'd better go for it. At age 60 I can get $940/mo for a lousy $100K. It decreases as I age.

I captured the screen in case they fix the link. Here it is. Any takers?

That seems like a heck of a deal. The TSP annuity calculator is only $567 for the same amount of money.

I must be misunderstanding something. How is it possible to offer a higer payout at age 60 than at age 70? It seems backwards.
