Changing IRA MRD to 72?

I rarely look at Marketwatch as it's nothing but clickbait. Anyway, there I was and saw this. Says there is bipartisan chance they could change some retirement laws, including raising MRD for IRA's to 72. I guess in our case it would just extend the years we'd convert tIRA money to Roth. Would it be that much a a "game changer" for anyone else? It's gotta come out sometime, and no one lives forever.
 
I think this is through the House now. Not a big deal for us. it wasn't clear if the factors are going to be re-evaluated or the curve slides to the right.



The reduction of the stretch inherited IRA actually generates significantly more revenue than the RMD reduction costs. But that doesn't affect us for two reasons. No heirs and we will be dead anyway.
