I was just doing a search and found a really, really old thread where we talked about buying stocks related to non-beef industries, shortly after the mad cow scare.

Considering the bird flu stuff, I hope not too many people jumped into that one.

Just goes to show that you cant make knee jerk decisions and everything that looks good or bad right now will look differently in a year or two...

Mutton might sell in the UK, but in the US they jack up the price and put a 'lamb' sticker on it.

I did that with a ham shank.. in fact, I took two, held them by my thighs, and started walking.... it was funny.... to me. We ended up buying one of them.
