Cola update

Picked this up from MOAA. It's no guarantee of future COLA changes, but an interesting peek into what may be ahead.

Quote:
The April 2018 CPI is 244.607, 2.1 percent above the FY 2018 COLA baseline.

The CPI for May 2018 is scheduled to be released on June 12.

I just want it to be 2.0% from June 30 2017-June 30, 2018...That way I get my 2% cola...If it is 1.99% CPI or less, its “No soup for me”.
