A 30-year mortgage has always been one of the best protections against inflation around.

Are we sure the market would come back like it has from 2008?

There is supposedly a study showing that the US defaulted in the '70s by accident for a couple of days or a week because of missed paperwork and the result was interest rates being 0.6% higher for months or years.

Maybe buying some guns and ammo would be something to consider.
