Beware of Florida. HIPAA is supposed to make the states make health insurance available to all, even the otherwise uninsurable. I saw an article on the net somewhere to the effect that FL has not funded the distressed category for a long time. Washington state is better. Get your coverage before you have pre-existing conditions, believe me!
