Dear EarlyRetirees,
I'm respectfully soliciting your comment/advice on my being a Vanguard votary:

VDIGX 0.03
VFIIX 0.12
VWEHX 0.17
VWIAX 0.34
VWLUX 0.34

The above is my cash portfolio (~$300k) whose dividends are to supplement my $35k annual expenses (I'm short <$20k/yr, not factoring inflation).

[I have a pension, am healthy, own a house mortgage-free and have no dependents (pets, plants, partner or playmate;-) My current 401k's balance ~$150k, which I've left with my employer.]

Am I too early a retiree?

Regards and Thanks.

Louisianian - you are missing waaaaaaaaaay to much information for anybody to render either advice or an opinion. How old are you? Do you have a cola'd pension? When are you planning on collecting SS? Do you have health insurance? Do you have money beyond your Vanguard acct. and 401K?

Thanks Molly, for your quick reply:
- I'm 49.
- I've paid $540/mth for health insurance premium.
- I have a modest pension ($15k/yr).
- I should begin to draw on the dividend cash flows by next year.
- Vanguard accounts and 401k are all my savings.

Regards
