Euro Exposure

FXE/NYSE allows you to buy a index that will track the Euro versus the $US.

It is an easy way to get foreign currency exposure, especially if you believe the US $ will continue to weaken.

No more than 5 to 10% of Investable Assets.

Re: Euro Exposure

I don't think I'd buy it as an investment but it might be a good way for me to hedge my travel expenses (i.e. spend USD when the dollar is strong or sell down FXE when the dollar is weak).

Retired early, traveling perpetually.

Re: Euro Exposure

What's in this trust? Euros in a deposit account somewhere, or derivatives (knowing Rydex)? Looks more like a vehicle for speculation than investing.
