No, but more than one of them accomplishes the same >$10K result without triggering any of their anti-terrorism precautions. Seems pretty silly to have a rule if it's that easily circumvented...

Oh ok, I see your point.

Kinda like the 3oz containers of liquids in your carry-on !

not exactly--you are only allowed one 3 oz container. So the only way to circumvent it would be to make several round trips and bring 3 oz each time. But if you did that, it might be quicker just to check a bag....
