One thing I'm a little worried about is the investor who rode down but said to himself, as soon as the Dow gets back to 9,000/9,500/10,000 (whatever), I'm getting out of equities, which will push the markets back down.

What I really hate? That I'm letting my happiness be affected by red numbers and forgetting the sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar....

(weird, just one second after I typed "bet your bottom dollar," someone on TV said "bet your bottom dollar" -- cue Twilight Zone theme music)

Good advice ! The bathroom will still be there but my travel time will slow down at some point . Maybe I'll also get new bathroom rugs ?
