Several years ago, I subscribed (Free) to an online Newsletter by Andreas Steiner. It was one of those "all things computer" type of publications. I was always impressed with his knowledge. Eventually, the newsletters got further and further apart and just drifted off in the great unknown. Today, he sent me an e-mail telling me about one of his current projects -- a website dedicated to methods used in analyzing investment performance and investment risk management. Investment Performance Analysis & Risk Management - Welcome
(click on "Spreadsheets.")
I have done nothing more than take a (very) brief look at a couple so I cannot place any value on them at this moment. I can tell you that Andreas has, in the past, proven very knowledgable in programming so those that use Excel in their financial problem solving should take a look.
The other (and, perhaps, more important thing) is they are all free.
