FIRE target club - 2020

I was thinking about this today and wouldn't it be neat to set up some kind of FIRE target club based on your FIRE target date. In my case my goal is to be retired in 10 years from now. If there are others in the same boat (say 8-12 years) it would be neat to update this thread once in awhile and hopefully in 10 years we can look back and update it with our success stories. Who else is in?

Accountingsucks - Dec 31, 2020 target.

I'll join as long as you don't charge membership fees

My "planets align" goal (and the market treats me very well) is Dec. 31, 2020. But I think it will be more like Dec. 31, 2022-2024)

I don't think I want to wait that long. Original plan was 2012, now it's 2017.

Best of luck to you!

Currently thinking 2025. But wouldn't mind being early.

I'll only be 41 at the end of 2020 so it's a lofty goal but i'm in.

I'm in- official date is 2019, but I'd jump on an early out anytime after 2014.

No definite date planned but I'm hoping late in this decade pending resolution of other household employment situations.

In 2017 I hit the 20 year mark with the military. I'm pretty sure I'll be done with it NLT 2020, so that is the goal: no work beyond then

As handle indicates, 2019 was original target. Maybe revise to 2020 per Mr Market (and that's probably optimistic)

Barring unforeseen circumstance, I've resigned (no pun intended) myself to working until I'm 62, which will be 2016. But 2013 is within the realm of possibility...

I'm thinking 2024 for me, but 2020 would be nice if things work out.

How much longer will the Hawkeye airframe be hanging around?
