I saw the Florida Blue CEO on TV this morning. He said they are opening/have opened (?) hundreds of service centers where people can walk in and talk to a human, face-to-face, about policies and claims issues. Addressing claims issues face-to-face? This is revolutionary!
He said they had started working on all this prior to ACA because they foresaw the health insurance market becoming much more retail oriented. He also said they are rolling out tons of educational (and sales?) events around the state of Florida.
Has anyone seen or used one of these centers?
