Free Kindle Download Today and Tomorrow of Rick Van Ness's Why Bother With Bonds Book

I saw this posted on the Boglehead's board today and thought some of you might be interested.

The Kindle version is available at Amazon and will be free for downloading today and tomorrow (Nov. 24 and 25). Apparently this free download has been available since last Friday.

Here's a link if you would like to download it: Amazon.com: Why Bother With Bonds: A Guide To Build All-Weather Portfolio Including CDs, Bonds, and Bond Funds--Even During Low Interest Rates (How To Achieve Financial Independence) eBook: Rick Van Ness, Larry Swedroe, Carl Richards: Kindle Store

Thanks for sharing the link.

The chapter in the book addressing misconceptions was fascinating.

In particular "stocks are safer in the long run".

"TRUTH: Our measure of uncertainty and volatility, the standard deviation of the Total Return, actually increases with time horizon."
