Fund to ETF Converter

Mutual Fund to ETF Converter | ETF Database

Interesting/easy tool to find comparable ETFs to replace managed funds.

Can't vouch for the data/methodology, however....

When I do a search I get only "Forbidden - You don't have permission to access /etfdb/index.php/etf/search///symbol/E.g., FAASX on this server."

That's weird - just did same for me. It worked when I first tried it - maybe I accessed it "through another site" that gave access ?

Sorry if doesn't work.

It's a great idea though. I could use a converter like that.

I just tried - and it worked - at least with Fidelity Magellan...

Since the OP, I've tried it half a dozen times, and it worked twice.
Seems to be an intermittent problem.

Why would you want an ETF "equivalent" of a managed fund? Why not just determine your desired asset allocation and buy the right indexed ETFs or mutual funds.

Maybe an easier solution is this: Use Vanguard's find-a-similar fund tool and then just pick Vanguard's ETF share class for that fund.
