Only thing I thought that mattered in the quarterly report: They still have $21 billion in cash.

Time to go back to sleep for another quarter.

They're burning $1 billion a month in that reserve. When their credit lines are tapped, whose going to give them money?

I agree they are WAY better off than Chrysler and about the same as Ford.........

GM's market cap is now down to about $6 billion.

ExxonMobil could buy the whole company with about 7-8 WEEKS worth of profits.

Not that they would want to.

ExxonMobil isn't happy with the car companies now, TOO MANY fuel efficient cars..........

It's the syndrome of throwing all of your bad news into one quarterly report (they kind of dropped the ball on that one too when you consider their past reports) by writing that $9.1 billion special one-time cost onto this earnings statement.
