Hello to all. I have been advised to buy Ginnie Mae preferred convertibles. Have done a bit of research but would like thoughts from others on the subject of these as compared to other fixed income tools.

Is this a fund which invests in Ginnie Mae's, or buying the bonds direct?

I believe the bonds individually.
